This is a short but very sweet film that beautifully depicts an idyllic scene of a young boy playing with his toy water gun in the countryside. The director made skillful use of natural light, and the film has the quality of a painting at times. The film wonderfully captures the feeling of a lazy summer day that seems like it will never end, but when Felix dips his water gun into a stream to re-fill it, we are reminded by the gurgling water that rushes past him that beautiful things -- summer days, boyhood, and short films about them -- quickly come to an end. Poor Felix. No one wants to post a review on your DVD's. I like Felix, and I have all four DVD's that feature him. I wish there were more DVD's of Felix, since he is such an enjoyable boy.
