SYNOPSIS:  Have you ever wondered what Azov Films footage never made it to release?  Out of the more than thirty brand new Azov Films releases each year, there is always some that didn't make the grade for whatever reason.  It could be the format needed changing, or there was a technical problem, or the timing just wasn't right, or perhaps it was because we thought the film just didn't have the star-power to guarantee a hit.  Well, in Azov Film's The Cutting Room Floor, we've combined four films that never got the "Green Light" for individual release!  What you have now is four-discs and over four-and-a-half hours of Azov Films goodness - this one is a guaranteed hit!

EDITORIAL REVIEW: A massive first release to bring in 2010!  Cutting Room Floor is not just a bunch of clips from films you've already seen.  No, sir, it's 318 minutes (over 4 hours) of BRAND NEW footage you've never seen before!  We have 4 films over 4 discs.  In fact, each disc contains an ENTIRE full-length film that we originally decided not to release after it was shot.  This footage was "shelved" originally, not because it sucks or there is something else wrong with it, but for a variety of reasons that was more for marketing than anything else.

For example, Disc 1 of Cutting Room Floor is what we were originally going to call "Commando Halloween".  But due to some technical issues with the digital camera used for taking production stills (for making our DVD sleeves, the slideshow and photo disc, etc) we shelved it.  It's still 98 minutes long and features a new nudist Boy Fighter (Stefan - from many of the earlier Boy Fights wrestling DVDs).  They try their best to carve some strange looking pumpkins (when one carves pumpkins whilst practicing naturism, one can't help but cringe just a little), try on a few costumes and play some fun nudist games.  Nothing wrong with that!

Disc 2 was originally filmed during the summer of 2008.  You'll recognize many of the Boy Fighters (albeit a year younger than you know them now), see a few new faces, and certainly recognize the wrestling.  At the time Azov Films chose not to release it because we already had more than our share of undies wrestling DVDs.  Not that you can ever have too much of a good thing ;-), but that too was shelved at the time.  We blew the dust of the cans and released it from the vault for Cutting Room Floor.  This is 86 minutes of wrestling goodness!

Disc 3 is brought to you by our popular Lugansk naturists.  You'll recognize Zhenya and his buddy Vechslav from Beaches and Dominoes - a little older and a lot wiser - and you'll meet a new Azov naturist, Daniil.  Vanya also joins them in the sauna.  What was the issue we had with this one that it was dropped on the Cutting Room Floor?  No real "issue", per se, but the first part of the original release featured the boys going back to the Cossack museum.  This is a museum we profiled many times in the past, including twice already in one year.  The boys also seems a little bored learning about their rich history (again) so we decided to shelve that film earlier in 2009, and present only the 57 minute nudist portion to you today in Cutting Room Floor!  This disc is presented in W I D E S C R E E N (which all future Lugansk naturist films will be).

Disc 4 is also from our "Commandos" in Moldavia!  Filmed in November 2008, Alex, Vlaviu and Vlad give you a "rock star" performance and wreak havoc around their apartment!  Games and wrestling is what you see before their "performance" as a rock band using a mop and dustpan as their instruments!  And like the 3 discs before it, this footage is a new release in itself.  It's 77 minutes and features the familiar Boy Fights format many of you have come to enjoy!

So there you have it.  As you can see, this isn't just a compilation of clips and outtakes, but rather 4 new Azov Films releases in 1!  An entire film per disc, save for the DVD features that usually accompany Azov Films releases (like slideshows, subtitles, etc). It's no joke, it is 4-discs and 318 minutes (that's over 4 and 1/2 hours).  You may also notice a few more "jump cuts" in the editing than you're used to, but this is called "Cutting Room Floor" and not "Lawrence of Arabia" or some other masterful piece of editing ;-)  Sit down, get comfortable, because you're in for a long ride!
