Nice eclectic mix

There is something for every Azov fan in this collection. Disks 1, 2 and 4 are for fans of the Moldovian boys. Disk 1 (which is quite possibly the best of the lot) is an extremely entertaining Halloween-themed production replete with pumpkins and costumes. The boys are really having a good time, and Vlad in particular shines in this one (he is a really good sport during a game of blind-folded tag in which the other boys taunt him, slap him from behind, and throw small objects at him). It is also quite amusing to watch the boys take turns swinging each other by the arms and legs. Disk 2 is designed for fans of the older �Boy Fights� wrestling videos, as it features a group of boys, some familiar and some unknown, who eagerly take turns wrestling with the somewhat larger Robert. The boys all wear matching white briefs and wrestle in a small wading pool. Disk 4 is in the tradition of the more recent Moldovian releases, and features Alex, Vlaviu and Vlad doing flips, wrestling and playing dress-up. Vlad once again is the stand-out here, hamming it up during the fashion show (kissing his muscles, even), and getting into a heated wrestling match with Vlaviu (who is sweet and cheerful, as always). Disk 4 is for Lugansk fans, and is particularly for fans of the young and feisty Vanya who brings his customary energy and killer smile. It is also nice to see Slava again after an absence of over one year (his last � and only � other appearance was in 2008�s �Beaches and Dominoes�). He does seem a bit sullen, but his moodiness helps the video capture a very real part of the adolescent experience. In short, if you enjoy Azov videos, you will almost certainly find something to your liking in this four-disk set.

The Price is Right

Disc II may be considered a summary of Boy Fights I to X, and Disc IV may be considered a summary of Boy Fights XI to XX, the pre-Loredan period. (Of these twenty, number eighteen is special with the loveable Andrei.)

Dsic III could have been much better if Zhenya continue to feel natural in the sauna as he had done before, with Slavik. I would suggest those who do not should take themselves out. Their presence spoils the effect of the film and is unfair to the other boys.
(This also applies to Robert in the Boy Fights.)

Disc I is worth the price alone. Anything with the elegant and graceful Loredan is a must, and the charming Andrei certainly adds to the attraction. While Vlad, Jonut and Vlaviu may not be stars in their own rights, they are good supporting cast.
Stefan is a good addition. He is quite uneasy, but unlike Robert, he toughs it out, and this is appealing.

Good price on a per disc basis

I will do my review of the dics in numerical order.

1: The Halloween Havoc disc, I will give a rating of 4 stars out of a possible 4. That cast is large, and has Stefan naturist for first time. The game of blindfold, 'marco polo' with the others touching or kicking the blindfolded one was fun for all involved. Nobody got hurt fortunately.

2: Undies Wrestling. This one will be liked most by fans of Robert, the Kung Fu master of the group. He takes on all the other wrestlers, first in one on one, then all at the same time. I give this one 3 stars out of 4.

3: The Lugansk Sauna Disc. I give a rating of 2 out of 4. Vanya has lots of energy, the life of the party, but he is a bit young still. The new cast member is older, larger than most would prefer, but he joins in on the fun nicely. One boy keeps his modesty the whole time. And Vechslav is growing up and muscular, but not so interested in being filmed which is a shame since he is a good looking lad.

This is best for fans of Vanya.

4: The Moldavian wrestling, biking, flipping disc. Alex is the star of this one with good help from two other buddies. Riding mountain bikes in the kitchen, dressing up and dancing, wrestling on a blowup bed, this has it all. I give this a rating of 3 out of 4 stars.

The compilation is worth the price. Hope you got it at the sale price. Shows that even the less than perfect videos here are better than what can be found anywhere else.

four movies

I am going to review this one out of order, from my least favorite to my favorite.
I will start out with Disk 2, which is an earlier boy fights movie made almost 2 years ago and never released. It features a group of boys (with Alex, Vlad, Robert and many others) who are outdoors and wrestling. This is a fun feature, and shows the older boys chasing the younger ones when they get out of hand. This disk is interesting for those who never bought the earlier releases from Peter P.
Disk 4 stars Alex, Vlad and Vlaviu from Peter P again. The three guys have fun wreaking havoc in a apartment. From trying on stuff to riding their bicycles inside, this has been seen before. Still, the boys have a great time and so will the viewer.
Disk 3 is from Lugansk and features a new boy making his debut. This one starts off with the guys in the sauna, and they all look so somber and serious. The four boys finally do relax and smiles pop up on their faces. Some may not like this one, but I think it shows a different side of adolescence and early teen years. They can be quite moody at that age, and then they quickly change to the beaming teens we are used to. While I am not advocating turning Azov into the CW network, but this is quite a change of pace than the usual fare.
Disk 1 is by far the best. The seven (yes seven: Alex, Vlad, Vlaviu, Lore, Andrei, Junot and Stefan) guys featured here start out the fun by carving pumpkins. I got a little nervous with the big knives used (insert Mel Brooks joke here), but they were careful. I also think there is a prank or practical joke waiting to be made, as there are teens, masks, pumpkins and nudity involved.
The boys all do the usual that is expected and have great fun doing so. They are naturally uninhibited and Peter captures the essence of being an adolescent. A huge contrast to the start of Disk 3.

If these four disks did not make the cut, Azov really is way above the rest of the crowd here. All of these could of been released on their own. The contrast of some of the stuff makes for this collection must viewing. Disk 1 is worth the price of $60 as it is that good.
2010 is heading out for a great start at Azov. Make sure to get this one.
