SYNOPSIS: At the age of eight, Kansas youngsters Neil and Brian played on the same little league baseball team.  Now, ten years later, the two boys couldn't be more different.  Neil is a charismatic but emotionally aloof male hustler while Brian is a nervous introvert obsessed with the idea that he has been abducted by a UFO.  When the boys' parallel lives inevitably intersect, the pair unearth dark, repressed secrets on a harrowing and unforgettable journey of self discovery.

EDITORIAL REVIEW:  "Are you ready?  Here we go..."  When was the last time, in a Hollywood movie, that you heard a grown man say to a boy, "Fuck me up the ass with your hot teenage cock"? In this unrated (although some say it was slapped with the dreaded NC-17) "deluxe director's edition" you'll hear...err, and see just that!  Almost as sexually graphic as you can get without without getting an 'X' rating (but one step below Karlekens sprak). 

This is the tale of Neil, a sexually abused 8-year-old boy who takes on the life of a teenage hustler in Kansas, and actually enjoys it.  We eventually meet Brian, an acquaintance of Neil, who's life takes a very different and strange path full of blackouts, nose bleeds and the search for why he may have been abducted by a UFO!  It all sounds very strange, but it really is a remarkable story that critics love.  Packed with extras including director commentary and commentary by the two lead actors. "Neil" is not the Joseph Gordon-Levitt you may remember from "Angels in the Outfield" or "3rd Rock from the Sun".  He's is all grown up and certainly takes a a big step toward being considered a serious actor in this one.  Don't forget to check out the deleted scenes in the special features section.
