Help I'm a Boy - Sarah Hannemann, Nick Seidensticker - DVD |
moviebizz.com featuring rare coming of age films from around the world.
SYNOPSIS: 11-year-old Emma doesn't have it easy. Her mother
expects her to out-perform everyone and her swim coach wants to make an Olympic
swimmer out of her. After being harassed yet again by her schoolmate and
enemy Mickey, Emma wants nothing more than to become a different person.
When she wakes up one morning, she is shocked to learn that her wish has been
fulfilled bit not as she expected. Emma has turned into Mickey and Mickey
has turned into Emma! What follows is a hilarious adventure of errors, as
Mickey and Emma must deal with being each other while trying to reverse the
spell.
EDITORIAL REVIEW: A
cute film very similar to Freaky Friday. The story revolves around
both Mickey, played by Nick Seidensticker, and Emma, played
by Sarah Hannemann and their group of friends. Both Mickey
and Emma lead very different lives and are both apart of
the same clique, but aren't really friends. One day, a mysterious stranger
changes all that, and a whole lot more! A good film, overall, with
excellent production values.
