SYNOPSIS: 253 high resolution digital pictures, photographed during the filming of filming of Scenes from Crimea: Vol. 6.

The 6th Scenes from Crimea is a special one indeed.  As you know Vladik produced the Crimea series, and appeared briefly in a few of them.  In this part we bring you to the coast with Basil and Buratino for some "mountain" climbing, swimming, and target practice with an air rifle.  Then it's off to the banya for some sauna hijinks in two different saunas.

With part 6 only partially completed before Vlad's passing, we decided to roll the clocks back to 2005 - when Vlad was first introduced to the world - to complete Scenes from Crimea: Vol.6.  You've no doubt seen the photos over the last 4 to 5 years, some included in our Black Sea Boys Portfolio, others from our Vladik Anthology series, but you haven't seen the video.  We have new, never before seen footage of Vladik and his friends from 2005!  Once you see the video, you'll know where the photos came from!  27 minutes of out takes and deleted scenes from the original Rose of Youth, and some ultra-rare footage dug out of the vaults that you've never seen before, and has never been released.

This photo disc is all new photos, so it does not include pictures from the 2005 video that we talk about above (and they are not screen captures).  Also, the photos only represent a few scenes from the film - not the entire film.  So when you get the film, and notice there are many more scenes than there are pictures, think of it as a nice surprise ;-)

EDITORIAL REVIEW: This is not a video DVD!  Usually, when the film is offered, we accompany the release with a separate disc of high resolution photos that are available for a limited time only.  We've had so many requests to offer the photo discs again that that is exactly what we're doing.  The photos are a series of candids and production stills taken with a digital camera during the filming of the DVD.  These are not screen captures taken from a video tape, they are high-quality digital photos (see the specs below).  Because of the size of many of the photos, we can't offer samples of all of them.  But click the Photos icon below to get an idea of the production.
